When designing the interior for the EV6, we wanted to create a unique space with a people-centered design. The Ambient mood light is added as a layer to strengthen the experience. Giving it that extra touch.
The spacious cabin has been opened up with the Floating centre console where you can find storage space for all your belongings and an integrated wireless phone charger . This is our way of improving the interior experience.
The EV6 offers you a spacious trunk with a capacity of up to 520 litres, and also a frunk: a trunk in the front. Since the car does not have a combustion engine, the EV6 has more storage space, with up to 572 litres of combined storage.
The EV6 steering wheel lets you control everything necessary. Not only can you answer calls and change music, but you can also maximize efficiency & driving range using the regenerative braking paddles or by selecting the desired driving mode.
With the Intuitive switchable controller located on the centre console, you can easily switch between navigation, entertainment, and the auto A/C with just a touch. To make your driving experience even smoother.

With the new Electric-global modular platform, we create new possibilities for you as a driver and for us as developers. It improves the performance, strengthens the design and opens up for a more spacious cabin. It’s created to inspire all the senses while on the move.
Thanks to the Electric-global modular platform and the large battery, the EV6 can work as a portable power supply for your daily life or leisure activities. We call this the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function. It supplies up to 3.6kW of electricity, and it can power your camping needs, movie projector or even charge other electric vehicles.
Thanks to the 800 V high-speed charging, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes. With this charging power, you can get your EV to run for 100 kilometres after just 4.5 minutes of charging. And with the multi-charging system, you can use both 800 V high-speed charging and the more mainstream 400 V fast charging. With 400 V charging, the EV6 will smoothly use the electric motor and inverter to convert the 400 V current from the charger into 800 V. All this happens smoothly and intuitively, allowing you to get the optimum charging speed.
Thanks to the Electric Global Modular Platform, we are revolutionizing vehicle proportions. The contrast between the longer wheelbase, shorter front and rear overhangs and larger wheels allowed Kia’s designers to introduce a more unique and modern design for the EV6.
Thanks to the long wheelbase, short overhangs and battery design, the EV6 introduces a flat cabin floor maximizing interior roominess for you and your loved ones. The interior space is enhanced for all your needs with strongly improved legroom and a new slim cockpit design.
The E-GMP is engineered to offer improved cornering performance and driving stability at high speed. This is made possible thanks to the weight distribution between front and rear, a lower centre of gravity and lower position, as well as electric motors located in the space where the engine previously was located. The high-speed electric motors raise the performance of the EV6. In addition, thanks to the five-link suspension system and the world's first mass-produced integrated drive axle (IDA), the handling stability and ride comfort is enhanced.

Kia Connect enhances the experience of owning a Kia. It will keep you connected to your car, enabling you to see the status of features like the battery level or door locks, including whether windows are open or closed. The anti-theft alarm and the rear passenger alarm alerts you to any movement in the rear, which is now further protected with laminated windows. The Intelligent front lighting system senses the vehicles around your car and automatically controls the high beam function to provide the best possible visibility – crucially, without blinding other road users.
Highway driving assist makes your driving easier. It makes sure the car follows the road and stays centered in the lane, as well as monitoring the distance to vehicles ahead. If the predetermined safe distance is not being maintained, the system will reduce the speed to adapt.
Highway driving with lane change assist helps maintain a set distance & speed from the vehicle ahead, while also assisting with lane changes while driving on motorways. Simply hold the steering wheel, engage the turning signal and the EV6 will move automatically to the desired lane, if it's safe to do so.
Eliminate areas you can't see with Blind-spot collision avoidance assist. This smart technology monitors blind spots and visually alerts you in the side-view mirror if another vehicle enters your blind spot. When the system detects a risk of collision, it automatically assists you with braking.
When changing lane, the blind view monitor is activated and visible on the panoramic 12.3" dual displays when you turn your indicator on. It helps you see what happens in your blind spots and makes sure you're safe before turning.
You'll have no nasty surprises when backing out of a parking space or driveway. The Rear cross-traffic avoidance system warns you if cars or pedestrians are crossing behind you, and if there's a risk of a collision, the system automatically brakes.
Need to get out of or into a tight parking space? No worries. With the RSPA system, you can either move the car out of a tight space, park your car or get assistance with parallel or perpendicular parking. All from your key fob. If anything appears in the car's path, it will break until the detected object moves.
The latest FCA system in the EV6 helps you avoid collisions with pedestrians, cyclists and other cars. The system warns you and helps you brake if you aren't reacting fast enough.
The Navigation-based smart cruise control is a feature that keeps you safe when driving into a curve. Before entering, the car slows down to a safe speed, based on the information from the navigation system. The system also uses machine learning technology and can replicate the way you're driving when it's activated.
The EV6 comes in two different trims: the Standard and the GT-line.

1 In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, EV6 must use an 800 volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 240kW of electricity. Actual charging speed & charging time may be influenced by the battery temperature and exterior weather conditions.
2 The range was determined according to the standardized EU measurement procedure (WLTP) based on 77.4kWh battery pack, rear wheel drive, and 19” wheels (pictured vehicle features 20” wheels). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real life range and can possibly reduce it.
3 Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty.
